We often wonder why we are here in this universe. Who made us and what is our relationship with HIM? To find out this answer we found out about the VEDIC TRINITY. The Vedic Trinity has three entities. God, Soul, and Matter. God is Omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent.
Souls are infinite in number. Each living being has a soul that is different form other souls. Each soul, which is in human body, is free to act. After doing any work it is bound by God’s justice to bare the fruits of its actions good or bad.
Matter is also always existent. All that we see, smell, taste, touch and hear is made up of matter. Bodies of human beings and creatures are made with five elements. Earth, water, fire, air, sky, and all the inanimate things like sun, moon, stars, ECT, are made up of matter.
To understand the Vedic Trinity we looked into our daily lives. First we saw our mom making food and we thought wait, this has something to so with the Vedic Trinity! Mom is like “God”, and the food she was making is the “Matter”, and she was making the food for us. So, we are the “Soul”. Get it? Not yet. Ok, well we woke up the next morning to get ready for school. So there is Vedic Trinity in that also. The teacher being like “God”, the knowledge being given is like “Matter” and the pupils are “Soul”. If you haven’t noticed the receiver of what is being given is always the “Soul”, and the thing being given is the “Matter”, and the giver is the “God”. Well here is one more example. My dad goes to store. Well, there is a buyer who is the “Soul”, a seller who like “God”, and the thing that is being sold is the “Matter”.
We found a Mantra that has something to do with the Vedic Trinity.

Dva Suparna Sayuja Sakhaya Samanam Vriksham Pari Shasvajate;
Tayaranyah Pippalam Swaduattyanashnananyo Abhi Chakasheeti.
From: Rig-Veda mandal 1, sukta 164, mantra 20.

What this mantra says in English: There are two pretty birds, which are colleagues and also close friends. They are sitting close to each other on a Peepal tree. One of the birds is enjoying the delicious ripe fruits of the tree with great pleasure. The other bird is maintaining a separate view, exhibiting no interest in eating the delicious ripe fruit and is sensibly presiding over the activities around. The Peepal tree being the matter, the bird that was enjoying the fruit is the soul, and the other bird is like God. In this way we got to the conclusion that god, out of matter, for the souls, created the universe. We the souls live in this world should enjoy the world and at the same time try to realize god within us instead of getting lost in the worldly matters. Well now our questions are answered! Indian Culture is based on VEDAS. Based on VEDAS, many principles were laid down by Rishies (sages) who wrote many great books like UPANISHADS, PURANAS, ITHIHASAA like RAMAYANA & MAHABHARATHA, etc. which constitute the great Indian Culture (Aarsha Bharatha Samskruti).

VEDAS are the knowledge revealed by God to the sages (Rishies) at different periods. This happened tens of thousands of years ago. They have preserved these as Vaamozhi (verbal) for milleniums, passing to disciples. In the begining, disciples were able to understand on chanting or hearing VEDAS. In due course, when values of people start dimishing, this capacity also started reducing. Then Rishis made interpretations (commentries - Bhahyas) for easy understanding. The most famous and widely used one is that of Sayana, a 13 century scholar. Unfortunately, this is not the right interpretation. So, many scholars in 18th & 19th centuries tried to make interpretations like Maharshi Arbindo, Maharshi Dayananda Saraswathi, etc.

Recently, a complete and reliable Bhahya for all VEDAS is done by Acharya Narendra Bhushan (a follower of Arya Samajam founded by Maharshi Dayananda Saraswathi) in Malayalam in Kerala State, India.
