About Indian cuture

Indian Culture is based on VEDAS. Based on VEDAS, many principles were laid down by Rishies (sages) who wrote many great books like UPANISHADS, PURANAS, ITHIHASAA like RAMAYANA & MAHABHARATHA, etc. which constitute the great Indian Culture (Aarsha Bharatha Samskruti).

VEDAS are the knowledge revealed by God to the sages (Rishies) at different periods. This happened tens of thousands of years ago. They have preserved these as Vaamozhi (verbal) for milleniums, passing to disciples. In the begining, disciples were able to understand on chanting or hearing VEDAS. In due course, when values of people start dimishing, this capacity also started reducing. Then Rishis made interpretations (commentries - Bhahyas) for easy understanding. The most famous and widely used one is that of Sayana, a 13 century scholar. Unfortunately, this is not the right interpretation. So, many scholars in 18th & 19th centuries tried to make interpretations like Maharshi Arbindo, Maharshi Dayananda Saraswathi, etc.

Recently, a complete and reliable Bhahya for all VEDAS is done by Acharya Narendra Bhushan (a follower of Arya Samajam founded by Maharshi Dayananda Saraswathi) in Malayalam in Kerala State, India.
